Short days, long nights and bitter cold temps can make winter feel endless, so our Bayfield Winter Adventures came at the perfect time!! Nothing warms the heart more than a campfire with s’mores and hot chocolate, and nothing fuels the soul more than an outdoor adventure like dog sledding.

Seagull Bay Motel hosted a winter gathering on their property {Cozy By The Bay} with catering by Blackwoods Catering, decorating by Lace & Brass Events, Florals by Boda Bayfield, local beer by Adventure Club Brewing, and of course photo coverage by yours truly, Xsperience Photography. It was my 5-year-old Layna’s first official gig as my second shooter and she rocked it!

The next morning a bunch of us headed down the scenic Lake Superior road and had a once in a lifetime experience… DOG SLEDDING with WolfSong Adventures!! Well, hopefully, it isn’t ONCE in a lifetime, because I’d love to influence some adventurous couples to celebrate an Engagement, Anniversary or Elopement at this incredible place. Imagine waking up, dog sledding to these beautiful views, breathing in the fresh crisp air, exchanging love letters or saying your sweet vows out in the middle of nowhere, and then heading to Seagull Bay Motel to greet your friends and family (or enjoy some alone time;) and end the fun-filled, yet somehow incredibly relaxing day celebrating by a cozy campfire.
