Small Wedding at Gooseberry Falls State Park

Faith and Bobby mutually decided a small intimate wedding at Gooseberry Falls State Park was the perfect for for them. They both love the scenic views of the North Shore along Lake Superior, and its proximity to their family members who could get there easily under 3 hours from the Cities. The two of them exchanged vows in a private area on the cliffs surrounded by only their immediate family members and best friends who served as witnesses. It was a couple hours from the time they shared their first look to the final photo, and it served for the perfect amount of time to accomplish their ultimate goal of becoming husband and wife, while also being present and truly connecting with each other and their guests.

What was your favorite part of your small intimate wedding day?

Our favorite part of the wedding day was being able to have those moments of us staring into each others eyes, connecting, and truly taking in the moment.

Why did you choose Gooseberry Falls State Park for your Intimate Wedding Destination?

We chose Gooseberry Falls because we knew we wanted a beautiful place to share our beautiful moment. We’d often go up to Gooseberry Falls for family trips in Northern Minnesota, so it seemed like the perfect place.

Our goal for the wedding day was to make it our own. To have a relaxed, comfortable day where we could cherish our families and friends being there.
