This small wedding at Maddens Resort on Gull Lake perfectly combines the intimate elements of an elopement with the fun family moments a destination wedding provides. Amanda and Nick wanted to keep it simple, romantic and enjoyable. They invited those they hold nearest and dearest to their hearts and headed north to the Brainerd Lakes Area.

The wedding was held near the Golf Course under a beautiful floral arch. Other than the arch, nature was the primary decor for this special day. A lily pad filled inlet, trees and the view of one of Minnesota’s finest lakes is really all you need.

Following the wedding ceremony, guests enjoyed a seafood meal at Madden’s Lodge and played some yard games. Talk about a relaxing day for all!!
