Casi and Nathan decided a simple winter elopement at a small cabin on a lake in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin was the perfect fit for them. They were joined only by their adorable pups, and us lucky few vendors from the Elope West team. It was a very brisk January day, but luckily their enduring love, warm personalities, and a little help from a gorgeous fur, some hand warmers and a campfire, made it feel… well tolerable at least… I can’t lie… it was still coooold. However, preparation allowed us to still enjoy every second of it. Casi even made a delicious brewed cappuccino mid-celebration to warm everyone up. She hired us to take care of them on their special day, but she still felt compelled to take care of us. She’s seriously the sweetest!!

Why Did You Choose To Elope?

We chose to elope because we wanted to give all of our attention and love to each other as we started this new journey together. We are so excited to celebrate with friends and family this Spring, but it meant the world to us to have this quiet winter day to ourselves so that we could begin our life together with all of the love in the world aimed at each other.

What Was Your Favorite Part of the Winter Cabin Elopement in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin?

Our favorite part was watching the video that our friends and family made for us. The video was a complete surprise and we could not imagine our day without us. They shared with us their encouragement, support, and love for our relationship. They offered advice and words of wisdom. It was so special to us.

How Was Your Experience Working With Elope West… An All-Inclusive Elopement Team?

The Elope West team was AMAZING. Brittany and Trisha were both easy to communicate with, and phenomenal to have by our sides prior, and during, our special day! It felt like we had known them forever. Everything felt natural, comfortable, and FUN! We honestly loved sharing our day with Brittany, Trisha and Andy and highly recommend them if you’re planning an elopement or small wedding!!
