Small Town Minnesota Wedding | Cody + Mikayla

Mikayla and Cody wanted all their friends and family present when they celebrated their love so they stayed close to home in their small town of Swanville. Nestled in a valley with Pepin Lake, Swanville is a beautiful small town located in central Minnesota, between Brainerd and Alexandria.  It has that small town atmosphere that everyone holds dear to their hearts…that is, everyone who know the feeling of growing up in a small town. Friends stay friends for life, and family gatherings happen far more than just on the Holidays. You can see the closeness and joy as you view their wedding story below…

Mikayla: The dance

Why did you choose the Sobieski Community Center for your wedding reception?

It has seemed to be quite the Swanville tradition for Cody’s friends so we had to haha! 

What was your goal for the Wedding day?

To not cry (Mikayla) I succeeded but hardly when my dad kissed my cheek at church I almost lost it!
