In a blink of an eye it went from being that pretty, moody foggy haze I love to a thick fog we could barely see in. For a second I thought a fire was rolling in because you could actually see it moving towards us. Regardless, this Gooseberry Falls Sate Park engagement session was simply beautiful.
Aaron and I were set up on a blind date (something neither of us wanted to do!) by Aaron’s cousin who happens to be my co-worker. She insisted because she thought we had very similar interests. It may have taken her two years before we agreed to go on a date with each other but clearly it all worked out in the end. Fast forward a few years and here we are getting married 🙂 As if planning a wedding wasn’t enough, we thought we would buy our first house together as well! An old farmhouse with some acreage that we can make our own is exactly what we needed!

Aaron and I absolutely love anything outdoors, especially hiking and exploring state parks together. Aaron had never been along the North Shore and I hadn’t been since I was a little girl with my family. We thought Gooseberry Falls State Park would be the perfect backdrop for our engagement photos and a great place to capture us doing something we love. We can not thank Trisha enough for the amazing engagement session!! We got to spend the next couple days along the north shore exploring some amazing state parks like Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock, and Tettegouche. We had some great food and made some amazing memories along the way.
