It may just be a State away from my home base of Minnesota, but there is something about those green rolling hills as you cross the border to Wisconsin that makes it feel so different. The summer temps combined with the lush greens make it a pretty destination wedding spot for us Mid-Westerners. Pine Brook Farms is no exception. The barn at the top of the hill, the hilly bean field and wild flower fields surrounding the buildings, and the silo turned bathroom and open air hay barn turned wedding chapel, made it a unique wedding venue for all to enjoy. Sonja and Thaddeus had friends and family from Wisconsin, Minnesota and California all join them in celebration.

Every moment was amazing. Thad and I both felt that the ceremony was the most special part of the day that we will always treasure. Although close 2nd was just getting to see and hang out with everyone we loved and cared about all in the same place after over a year of having to be so distant. It’s really hard to describe how much that meant to us.
While planning, it was really hard to picture how everything would come together. The ceremony turned out greater than anything I had in my head. It felt not only perfect but sort of otherworldly. And a smidgen of disbelief as to how beautiful everything was, how happy I felt, how handsome he was, how everything just came together into that one moment.
