Superior Shores Engagement Adventure • Xsperience Photography

I know Duluth is a wonderful place to visit, but don’t stop there…keep driving Northwest and enjoy the view of the North Shore with its tall trees, deep roots and rolling waves. Britt and Jordan share a love for the scenic views surrounding Lake Superior so that’s where we headed to capture their Engagement story. We started at Superior Shores just outside of Two Harbors, which offers a large beach area, tree filled cliffs, textured rocks, and let’s not forget their delicious food and bloody mary’s!!! Our vision of a romantic canoe ride while the sun rises over the lake, followed by some cozy beach time where Jordan would serenade Britt with his guitar, was changed last minute when Minnesota surprised us with a freezing cold sunless day and gusting winds (yes we were risking the temps planning this shoot the last weekend in May, but we were prepared for chilly and windy, but NOT freezing!!) Nevertheless we made the most of it and the wind in Britt’s hair is just as pretty as a canoe at sunrise…right:)
