This wedding at Villa Belleza Winery in Wisconsin was so special. Devyani and Danny intertwined their two cultures in such a poetic and beautiful way. They shared laughs and tears during the first look and personally written vows, and bonded more as they experienced the Hindu traditions during the second half of their ceremony. Hindu weddings are filled with color and tradition. Family and weddings are a sacred part of their journey and it shows. It’s truly a blessing to witness.

What was your favorite part of the wedding day?

Seeing all our loved one’s come together to celebrate this special milestone in our life as we embark on this new adventure was the favorite part of the day. Past 2 years have made it hard to come together. This time together was special for all our family and friends, especially since many of them had travelled from different states and also internationally to be there with us.

Why did you choose the Villa Belleza Wedding venue in Wisconsin?

Italy was the first international vacation we took together. We loved travelling through different cities and had many special moments together in Tuscany. Initially we wanted to get married in Italy, but travel restrictions made that impossible. We stumbled upon Villa Bellezza when we started searching for wedding venues. The moment we saw it, it was a throwback of all the beautiful memories we made in Italy. This was the first and only venue we visited. It was a little part of Italy nestled right here at home for us.

What was your goal for the Wedding day?

Our main goal was to keep it personal and focus on things that were important to us. We wanted to keep it simple and enjoy the day with our friends and family who traveled to celebrate with us.

Any tips or advice for engaged couples?

Marriage is not 50-50. It is 100-100 for both involved. It is never about who gave more or who gave less, but about both giving everything. Time flies by quick, appreciate and care for one another.

Goals for married life…

Growing together and supporting each other through all that life throws at us.

Something we hold special in our relationship and was also a part of our officiant’s ceremony speech from First Corinthians. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
