Central Minnesota Wedding at The Regency | Shelby + Trevor • Xsperience Photography

I love that my job allows me to see the world when I book Destination Weddings and Elopements, but this wedding in Central Minnesota was equally as beautiful. It made me fall in love with Minnesota weddings again. Shelby and Trevor have the most special connection. The posing came natural as they embraced one another in the rain. All I had to do was focus on documenting the truth because the truth was naturally beautiful and photogenic. It was every wedding photographer’s dream.

The Regency in St. Cloud Minnesota

We started with getting ready photos at The Regency in St. Cloud. It’s located downtown and offers well lit, nicely decorated getting ready spaces for both the ladies and groomsmen. It also offers a large indoor space for your ceremony as well as a patio deck outdoors which is perfect for social hour and sunset photos.

The Quarries in Waite Park

Shelby and Trevor are nature lovers and enjoy hiking so we took a little adventure to the Quarries in-between getting ready and the ceremony. Their wedding party joined us after the first look and some rainy shots in the woods. Those were my favorite!!

I don’t think anyone plans their wedding with hopes of rain in the forecast. Especially when you love the outdoors and want to spend most your day there. But I’m hoping this gallery will give future brides a sigh of relief when they see how amazing their day can be…rain or shine!!

Shelby and Trevor have a love so vibrant and true, it radiates in every image. It’s probably a good thing the rain was pouring down or I would have had them two posing for hours!

Shelby’s impeccable taste and Morilee gown combined with their effortless love made this one of my favorite weddings of all time.
