Why did you choose to host your Minnesota Wedding at The Grands At Mulligans?
We both wanted a short engagement, so an all-inclusive venue (with amazing food) was something we absolutely wanted! It is so nice to have everything included at the venue. We didn’t have the added stress of finding extra venders that most likely wouldn’t be available because of how short the engagement was.
What was your favorite part of the wedding day?
Our favorite part was our coffee date and private vows early in the morning.
What was your goal for the wedding?
Neither of us enjoy being the center of attention, so an intimate wedding was something important to us. We only had 83 guests. Everyone there was important to us. We also wanted to make the day enjoyable for our guests, so some good food and free wine and beer was a must!
Do you have any advice for engaged couples planning a wedding?
Do whatever the heck you want and don’t let anyone shove their opinions at you. This day is about you and your partner! Make a list of the most important things and go from there. I believe Pictures are the most important thing, INVEST in your photos!! You will have them forever; we are so happy with ours and have zero regrets prioritizing that.
Married goals…
To continue being best friends and working as a team together. Our goal is to live a happy simple life where we are rich in experiences. We want to travel and enjoy all of the things together- hiking new trails, trying every coffee shop, attempting one of Thomas’s new hobbies, and growing old together. We dream of having our own little family one day and raising children who will grow up surrounded by love, laughter, and adventure. We are so lucky to have found each other and we will continue to make the best of every moment we have together.
