Where do I even start?! Abby and Jaron’s Fall wedding at Crow River Winery was picture perfect from beginning to end. They both looked stunning, Jaron in his classic black suit, and Abby in her white gown that looked like it was designed specifically for her spunky, free-spirited personality! We had the most beautiful October day Minnesota could provide us. Aside from the high winds that is, but we will take that over a blizzard any day;) And Lucky for us, Crow River Winery had some nice spots tucked away in the trees for us to capture some beautiful photos.

Why did you choose Crow River Winery to host your Minnesota Fall Destination Wedding?

We picked Crow River Winery because it’s the perfect halfway point between our two families. Not to mention, we both love a good glass of wine! We were so lucky to have a beautiful fall weekend. It seemed like the fall colors really hung on this year and we were so glad to have such a beautiful backdrop for our photos and ceremony.

Tell us about your Wedding Day!!

The day was a whirlwind full of special moments. We both had a great time getting ready for the day with our wedding party…the girls spending the morning in hair and makeup, drinking mimosas, snapping fun Polaroids and filming silly TikTok’s…and the boys getting Bloody Mary’s at the bar and spending roughly 5 minutes getting into their tuxes. (so unfair!)

Once everyone was ready, the day moved quickly! The first look was so special and was the perfect private moment between just us (and our amazing photographer of course). The ceremony was beautiful and was made even more memorable when Jaron whispered to me that he was pretty sure we had forgotten to grab the rings. The news traveled quickly to my rockstar maid of honor and little sister who zoomed back to the bridal suite, running past strangers in the tasting room, letting them know “WE FORGOT THE RINGS!!” I learned later on that the loud cheer we heard coming from the winery was those same strangers cheering her on as she ran the rings back down the aisle and slipped them to the best man.

Other special moments were the heartfelt speeches given by our family members, the delicious dinner we all enjoyed, and dancing the night away with our favorite people. The sight of all of our friends and family gathered to support us was a heartwarming testament to the love and community that we are blessed with. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and genuine connection that we will remember forever!

We are so grateful for the incredible team of vendors who made our wedding day unforgettable. The staff at Crow River made sure everything ran smoothly and made sure our guests were hydrated with delicious wine and drinks. To our minister, Bill Schubert, thank you for your beautiful sermon and the invaluable premarital counseling that helped us embark on this journey. To Paula Hansen from Cold Spring Floral, a special thank you for creating the most beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres. Our caterer, Keek’s Restaurantc in Watkins, your roast beef and chicken were beyond delicious. DJ, Mike Chatterton, you kept the dance floor alive with great music and energy. And last but not least, Trisha, our incredible photographer, you captured every special moment and we are forever grateful for the memories you’ve preserved in such a magical way.
