Cadence and Thomas had the most beautiful Central Minnesota Wedding at The Grands at Mulligans in Sartell. Lucky for them, it was literally walking distance from their home. But that wasn’t the reason they chose The Grands at Mulligans for their wedding venue…

Why did you choose to host your Wedding at The Grands At Mulligans?

We both wanted a short engagement, so an all-inclusive venue (with amazing food) was something we absolutely wanted! It was nice to have everything included at the venue. The only vendor we had to find was a photographer which was no problem since we had our hearts set on Xsperience Photography. It made the quick wedding planning process smooth and stress-free. 

What was your favorite part of the wedding day?

Our favorite part was our coffee date and private vows early in the morning. It was the only time of the whole day that it was “just us”. We could fully focus on our intentions for the day and for life moving forward. 

Why did you choose to have a small intimate wedding?

Neither of us enjoy being the center of attention, so an intimate wedding was something important to us. We only had 83 guests. Everyone there was important to us. We also wanted to make the day enjoyable for our guests, so some good food and free wine and beer was a must! 

Do you have any advice for engaged couples planning a wedding?

Do whatever the heck you want and don’t let anyone shove their opinions at you. This day is about you and your partner! Make a list of the most important things and go from there. I believe Pictures are the most important thing, INVEST in your photos!! You will have them forever; we are so happy with ours and have zero regrets prioritizing that. 

Married goals… 

We hope to continue being best friends and work together as a team. Our goal is to live a happy simple life where we are rich in experiences. We want to travel and enjoy all of the things together- hiking new trails, trying every coffee shop, attempting one of Thomas’s new hobbies, and growing old together. Hopefully someday we have our own little family and we raise children who grow up surrounded by love, laughter, and adventure. We are so lucky to have found each other at such a young age, and we will continue to make the best of every moment we have together.
