Neighbors at the family cabin on Lake Alexandria, Minnesota

Jason’s family owns a cabin next to Cierra’s grandparent’s cabin on Lake Alexandria in Cushing, Minnesota. They both enjoyed spending weekends on the lake with their family, boating, dining, relaxing, and Jason’s favorite… fishing!! It was their home away from home; their “happy place”. It was just a matter of time before their paths would cross, and life would never be the same. Similar in all the best ways possible…but now shared with someone special.

This night was incredibly special for Jason and me. We got to take photos at the exact spot where we first met, began our relationship, and later got engaged. Trisha captured us in one of our favorite places in the world, all while letting us just be ourselves. We spent time fishing, had dinner at the same place as our first date, and got out on the boat—where our relationship truly feels at home. We’re beyond grateful for the way Trisha was able to capture the beauty of this place and how much it means to us. ~Cierra
