A Woodsy Fall Engagement | Little Falls, MN • Xsperience Photography

Sophie and Brian will be celebrating their big day in just a couple short weeks, but we thought it would be great to get to know one another prior. We headed out to my favorite park in Little Falls on a brisk Fall day and enjoyed the sun shining on us through the trees, and captured them during their last sweet days as an engaged couple.

It was also the perfect opportunity to practice my posing cues and tricks, educate my clients on how lighting factors into the shot, and remind them that they hire a professional so they can trust that their day will be captured the way they envision…in the best way possible, imperfections and all. I gave them the advice I give to all my clients, “remember to let go of perfection and enjoy the day as it unfolds. Love and real smiles are what makes a photograph beautiful. It doesn’t matter how great the pose and lighting is if the smiles are fake and the memories are unhappy. A good photographer will make sure you look your best so ‘that’ weight is placed on their shoulders and lifted off yours.”

We will be swapping out the woods for a beautiful golf course in the Minneapolis area on November 9th!!
