Kaylee and Zach met at the sweet age of 16 in the small town of Buckman. They clicked way back then, decided to date, but with both attending different neighborhood high schools, it wasn’t real serious. “Many years later we ran into each other and sat and talked for a while and after that conversation we became each other’s shoulder to lean on for everything. Within a few months we were talking all the time and spending every single day together and we both knew right away that we were going to be together in the end. 1 year later we bought our first home together in the town that we both grew up in and 6 months after that we got engaged. We planned our wedding 3 years exactly from the weekend that we ran into each other again. One of our favorite things about each other and our new life is how well our families blend together. Our families grew up together as well so there’s always great stories to be told. Also, with both of us coming from farms we all have a lot in common so it makes things fun!”
Kaylee chose a stunning gown from my favorite boutique bridal shop in New London, Finley Florence. Its romantic, boho vibe was the perfect compliment to the wooded, earth tones of Rice Creek.
“Right away when we got engaged we knew we wanted to get married out there. It fits our lifestyle and personalities so perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for us to get married at!”
