December Wedding at a Northern California Vineyard • Xsperience Photography

Jordan and Shanigne hosted an intimate wedding celebration at Tenbrink Orchards December 14, 2024. They truly were more excited about the marriage than “the big wedding” so they kept it small and family-focused. Everyone who attended meant a great deal to them and it showed.

A DESTINATION WEDDING AT TENBRINK ORCHARDS

Jordan’s mom Vanessa and her husband Rich live near a quaint vineyard in wine country California called Tenbrink Orchards. They found out it was available for small weddings so they decided to adjust the original plan of hosting in their yard, and make life easier by booking the venue. It ended up making the perfect wedding venue for this personable couple.

Rain poured down for two days straight leading up to the wedding day. Upon arriving at Tenbrink Orchards, Jordan confidently said to me, “I wasn’t worried. I knew it would stop for my bride. She deserves that and so much more.” Meanwhile, Shanigne held back her nerves as her and her ladies got ready together in the private room detached from the home. The room echoed joyful and exciting words in both English and Spanish since Shanigne is from Panama.

Water covered every inch of the Orchards that wasn’t paved or filled with rocks so we snapped a few portraits where dry, but for the most part we focused on all the realness in the making. It was every documentary wedding photographer’s dream!!

The wind died down just enough to utilize the outdoor ceremony space near the orchards. I can’t even imagine how beautiful this ceremony space would be in the spring with the orchards in full bloom!! Jordan waited until the moment his bride walked down the aisle to see her. His reaction was a direct reflection of the undeniable love they share. Following the ceremony we had a very quick photoshoot…yes, getting ready ran a couple hours over the initial plan…but in what world are ladies EVER on time hehe!! But luckily their natural beauty and love for each other made it a smooth process and we ended up with some beautiful portraits. After the sun set beyond the Orchard, we spent the rest of the evening eating, listening to some heartfelt speeches, and dancing!!
