After much contemplation on whether to host their wedding day on August 10th or 17th, Brittany and Alan finally decided on the perfect date… “… and we just so happened to pick the rainy weekend!! It ended up being a beautiful day regardless, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way!”
“Planning our wedding ourselves was very stressful, and we seriously thought about eloping the closer it got! But all the special meaningful touches such as my grandmas who passed veil in my bouquet, her veil clip in my veil, alans grandpas hanker-chief his dad gave to him for his suit pocket, my aunt making our cake, being able to wear my other grandmas pearl necklace my grandpa got for her when we was overseas in the war, his mom doing our bouquets, my brother playing guitar for our first dance with our best friend singing it, and my dad walking me down the isle made it all worth it!”
