Shelby and Adam wanted two things to happen on their wedding day… have Christ be the center of attention and their love be celebrated. They accomplished both on this beautiful Spring day in Central Minnesota.

They started the morning getting ready at Faith Lutheran Church in Little Falls, Minnesota. They kept their distance in order to honor the tradition of Adam seeing his bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle. His expression was priceless. The words spoken by the minister was a beautiful reminder to all of us that love needs to be respected and cherished in these crazy social media times. That it’s a daily choice to work on your relationship or to let it take second place to an image you hope to portray.

“Fairytales have lead us to believe a romantic love will carry two starry eyed lovers into the hereafter. We have a picture of a perfect partner, but we marry an imperfect person. So we have two options. Tear up the picture and accept the person, or tear up the person and accept the picture.”

So much truth to that.
